Sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread. Not sure if it should go here or under figs?

Has anyone done this graft. To save space, I am thinking of grafting a few different types to one tree. Any tips, because I never did a graft.

Thanks,

Vinny

jm. Thanks, yes indeed, those are some interesting photos. So I guess there is hope for grafting figs. Sounds like I have a new project ahead of me.

Hi Vinny, just wondering how the fig grafting went. I grafted onto my BT last year & it took, but I took the tape off too soon & it died.

Hi Patty. Sorry for not getting back to you. I forgot I posted in this section. I did not attempt any grafting last year. I plan on experimenting this year. Sorry to hear yours did not make it. I guess practice make perfect.

Vinny, this one is easy & seems to work great. eycker put this on another thread. Joe also just put a step by step tutorial for cleft/wedge grafting . Just make sure they are both same size diameter.

I will try again this year.
