Thanks Laaz for posting the picture, I took the photo before Christmas with a cheap disposable camera and couldnt for the life of me figure out how to scan and send the image to the forum. I guess thats where a good moderator comes in!
The fruit in the center is the sanbokan sweet lemon. This came from a seedling tree I had planted some 4 or 5 years ago. It had 5 fruits on it this year and I was thinking the whole growing season that I had a minneola tangelo or something. I had long ago lost the label... and at one time I thought it was a seedling satsuma. The neck was very pronounced just like a mineola. Finally, in October, I decided to try one of the fruits. I told a friend that if the flesh was orange.. we had a tangelo.. yellow and sweet..a sanbokan. The flesh was yellow and the taste was that sweet/tart flavor that only comes from this variety. The other fruits in the picture are : top left, changsha tangerine, bottom right, yuzuquat, bottom left, ichang papeda lemon and top left, nippon orangequat.
