As far as I know, "Troyer" comes from the same cross of Poncirus trifoliata x Citrus sinensis "Washington" as it's sister "Carrizo".
The only difference realy counts, was the Nematode resistance found in "Troyer"....

But in yield, vigor and other datas both are realy compareable and have only minimal differences.

It's 'Carrizo' that had the resistance to burrowing nematode, not 'Troyer'. Yes, otherwise they are identical in every way. And 'Carrizo' has lost much of its resistance over the years, likely due to the nematodes mutating.
