FYI - Harbor Freight seems to have these on sale every once in a while and they are on sale again, same price as a couple of months ago. The 10' x 12' is $120 off at $599.99. The 6'x10' one is $100 off at $299.99. They had them in stock at a nearby Harbor Freight the last time I looked (though they weren't on sale them). Maybe bite this time even though I probably wouldn't have time to put it to use for a while.

Harveyc
Before you buy this greenhouse you should know that it is fabricated with extruded aluminum no thicker than .030 thick. As is ,it will not stand up to very strong winds. Here is a link about the problems with these greenhouses and solutions to strengthening them by using EMT conduit. Pay attention to the problem of the base frame of the unit also.
I understand that after the modifications are done, you will have a much better product.
Here is the link. http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/strucs/msg0113112919846.html?41

Yes, and there is a useful FAQ on GW describing the modifications to the 12x10 HFGH.

Thanks for the head's up, though I wish you had provided a link. I found this one there which makes reference to others on the Internet. Was this the one you had in mind? http://faq.gardenweb.com/faq/lists/strucs/2006122146005629.html

This guy has a pretty interesting summary of his experience:

I have plenty of gravel already and some heavy pipe and have considered welding a frame out of pipe for the base in the event I decide I would like to relocate it somewhere else around my farmhouse.
