Thats a beauty! For $10 more you got a good 2' more! Gas and shipping are catching up to one another though....
Yours has the same yellow tag! Must be the same grower/distributor..??..
Thank you for sharing the pictures! Mantis212

But it's generally thought you need good, long, hot summers for pummelos to ripen and sweeten. Sadly, here in England, that doesn't happen very often.
citrange is in zone 8 so his tree must spend part of the time indoors. Based on his experience can we extrapolate to say that pummelos would not be good for indoors on a year-round basis?
Mantis212,
How's the quality of the fruit from your tree in zone 7?
In any case, pictures of Laaz's Hirado Buntan "growing like a weed" in this thread leads to me to think it would be unsuitable for indoors because of its size. Would this be the case?

Being grown in a container, that will somewhat control the size. I would still say it is not a good tree to grown inside. Wait until I post some photos of it this summer, it is over my garage roof. This tree is very vigorous & new shoots can grow 6" or more in a day.
