It is about 1,15 m. One man from the my web-board has greenhouse with 2 m depth. He said that he have had about 0 C when was -30 C outside without additional protection. Only plastic glasses - "policarbonate". |

Thanks, Daniel! But the earth is cold. The temperature inside the greenhouse is +2,8 +3,2 C. I lost two fruits on my clementine tree. |

There is no difference between 0 C? +5 C, -10 C. The temperature inside is fluctuated in range +2,8 +3,2 C. You should visit our web-board. We have new pics from other members. |

It was -19 C five days ago. There was no snow Inside the greenhouse was +0,4 C I expect spring for opening my greenhouse. Ii is interesting to see my citrus tree |

Great work Serj, your trench greenhouse works really well! Is it possible to make your trench wider and still have the same great insulating effect? Or would the insulating effect be less because the soil walls are too far apart? |
