Hope our Friends on the east coast will be safe from Irene. Looks like even if there isn't a direct hit there will be lots of flooding!!!
Please collect any extra water in buckets and send it this way!! LOL Wink The predicted rain fizzled out and the heat is back!!! UGH!!!!
Seriously hope everyone will be safe and their babies make ith through the rough weather ahead!!

Looks like I'm out of the woods. Going north of me, but will still get some rain & wind.

Thanks Gina. It looks like it's gonna be a rough one for us. I'll be happy if all I have to do Sunday afternoon is pick up fallen citrus fruit and knocked over pots. Shocked

I don't understand why SC is not in advised area.. sure it is not in the eye of the storm but looks like they will get impacted as well from outrbands with winds and the amount of rain that will be dumped will cause flooding... watching the TV now and them talking about all the ppl that are under evacuation who are not evacuating.. Saying if things get worse they will leave.. do they not know when things get worse it will be too late??
Do they have any weather advisories at all for SC?
Hope all is well!!!!

Nothing really going on Gina. We are getting rain squalls & some wind gusts, but thats about it.

I lucked out with just one or two citrus fruit (Dunstan citrumelo) on the ground this morning. I did loose a bunch of jujube fruit and had a lot of pots to stand back up. Our neighborhood in general did fine though. The water behind my house rose quite a bit but did not pose any flooding danger. Some other areas of Virginia Beach had some real troubles but I'm happy to report that other than the lost fruit, some knocked over pots and a small piece of trim that got blown of the house we did fairly well. The good news is that I don't have to worry about watering anything for some time!
