Great trees and collection, citrom!
Sweetie often produces interesting seedlings, maybe because it's a triploid. Few years ago I had a similar Sweetie seedling with small leafs and very short internodes (about 0,2 inch = 0,5 cm long). And it was very vigorous, not the non-growing one.
But one day I've found it dead [frozen ] after a quite cold night at September (there was about +3 C = 37 F then), and that seedling was the most cold sensitive citrus I've seen. I think it had a genetic mutation that made it dwarf as well as so much sensitive to cold.
But every case is different, I wish you luck with your dwarf Sweetie! |
