I am going to feed this thing until I get rocket fuel.
I used 30 Meyer lemons with the Zest of 10. The SG was1.092 and a Brix reading (22.2), which did not quite match but close. Used EC-1118 so I hope to get a strong fermentation.

My kumquat wine is somewhere between 15-16% --pretty close to rocket fuel. At first I did not like it, but now I put it over ice and sweeten it a little and it taste pretty good. Let me know how your lemon wine turns out!
My lemon wine was a hard lemonade--about 7% alcohol and it taste like lemonade with a kick. The kumquat wine taste more like a liqueur at 15 to 16 % alcohol.
