Just heard on the radio that the Charleston airport is being shut down at 9:00AM this morning. I told Laaz, this is the price for lilving in paradise. - Millet

Just read the National Hurricane center forecast for the Charleston area. Take care, pretty scary for me reading what it said, I can't even imagine, even after seeing what those darn storms can do, what it must be like living through one. My prayers are with you!

Were about out of the woods... Had massive downpours all day, but no wind or tornados... Looks like it's going to hit the NC coast later tonight.

From the news just now, it looks like it's past Charleston & is heading to NC coast. If the wind is 5mph more, it'll be considered a hurricane. Hope there's no damage to anything or anyone.
Laaz, you shoulda tied that banana to your house LOL

Bananas are fine. We got a few gusts, but it's pretty much past us now...

Now maybe I can get some real beer. Went to the store last night to get my hurricane supplies (Corona) and all the beer in the store was nearly gone ??? Had to settle for Miller highlife Sad

Naaa... Miller taste like crap to begin with. Publix has a fresh supply of Corona tonight Very Happy

Scott you have to see your Pomello seedlings. They are about 18" high now & growing like crazy.

I have about 20 fresh Key's right now & when I run out I know Darren has a bunch on his tree. He's just down the road, so if I'm really quite I can sneak down to his place & hoist all of his Key limes as well... Wink

Why is it that lime taste so good in a Corona, but doesn't help a bit in a Miller Lite?

No problems in Raleigh-Durham, and we needed the few inches of rain.
