I had a glass of wekiwa tangelo juice today. It is really a tangelolo, 3/4 grapefruit and 1/4 mandarin. It tastes like a pummelo, no grapefruit bitterness. It was no quite mature but was sweet.

It seems that it have some purple ink blots on them. These are also called lavender gems, but the color doesn't actually come close, perhaps exposure to UV light, then lavender color will shine. thanks for the pics. They can taste sweet here too, even if colder than your place.
