Hello,

how long need the trifoliata growing from seeding to grafting? 1,2,3, ... years?

I live in a cold place and plants don't grow all the year!

Thank you for your answer!

You want the trifolitata to be about pencil thickness to use as rootstock. I have many times used it smaller, but a rule of thumb you want it about pencil size.

In ground, in very good conditions it can be one year but most likely 2 or 3.

Thank you for answers.

And what about fertilizer? More nitrogen or like the other citrus trees?

This is a "wild" tree. In ground, it will grow, nitrogen or not. It is very hardy.
