What is the name of the growth ring from one growth spert to another? This is where the blind buds start.

In french we say nœud, it might be node in english.

The node is above the leaf and doesn't create a ring around the limb. The node is also the bud that is used when budding.

I belive the name is bud scale scars or terminal bud scale scars.

Ring of bud scale scars from previous year's terminal bud. More of a description than a name but it will do.
