A very nice crop this year. They are actually very sweet when fully ripe. You eat these skin and all.

Laaz,

Would this grow well here in Pensacpla FL?

I saw this.

Frozen immediately after harvest, when defrosted this fruit is as good as fresh. Great in beverages & desserts, especially sorbets. Also used in sauces, garnishes, marmalades & syrups

Could kumquats be done this way?

Good looking fruits Laaz. How do they taste compared to Kumquats?

I can't tell you of the cold hardiness, it is in a container & comes in the garage during freezes.

Taste is much sweeter than kumquats.

That's a really nice looking tree. The sweeter then a kumquat flavor sounds appealing. Is the juice sweet, the rind or both? given its parentage its maybe a little surprising there are no off flavors in the rind.

Any idea if this is avalable in Florida? Not a lot of information on it out there.

Harvest time. Very Happy I can't believe how sweet they are. They have a somewhat floral taste to them as well. Now what to make with them... They would probably make a excellent wine.

I saw Joe and traded some plants with him today. He is well.
He mentioned to me that today is Patty's birthday.

Laaz, I have not personally talked to Citrus Joe in over a year or so. However, he sent me an E-mail last month. The last I heard, several years ago he purchased some property in Missouri, and was going to build a house on the property then move his family. Something must have gone wrong, as he is still in Greeley, Colorado. - Millet (363- ABO-

Wow, Laaz, very interesting variety! I'd love to try to grow this, but I don't think this is available in California. I'd love to have some seeds if you have any extra? Fabulous tree.
