My NZ lemonade fruited this spring for the first time.
The fruit were very juicy and tasted like a combination of meyer lemon and orange. Very mild but with a very slight citrus bite this citrus would make lovely drinks. I ate mine off the tree.
Mr Texas I recommend this citrus which is in many Australasian gardens however remember it is a mild sweet flavor that doesn't have a kick like lemons or limes.

Would you say it has a nice balance of sweet/tart like a good mandarin or round orange or is it just more sweet like an acidless lemon or orange?
(I don't like acidless fruit like acidless Vaniglia blood orange or acidless Pomona sweet lemon.)

Sweet tart. It is half lemon half NZ Grapefruit in it's parentage so the tart flavor is still in the background. Probably slightly more acidic than a Valencia Orange.
