They spread once they get going. Once the fruit develops it causes the branches to weep.  Hell, the Panzarella orange has such a load it bends the entire tree to the ground.

seeing your trees give me something to look forward too.....my little trees are doing well....when they get trunk size like yours.....i might have to hire an arm guard.....lol.....i have 2 tree about 15 feet from the street...2 men pass my trees and looked like they wanted to snacth some ornages

Athena passed away in 2010. Brutus has grabbed other dogs in the neighborhood, so he is not allow out unless he is on a leash.
