Very interesting! Tim MA z6's fruits are the same as those on your pictures above, hardyvermont?
My experience is limited. But I don't think that older fruits have more juice or taste better. I picked up some fruits again from the same trees after two or three weeks, fruits that laid on the ground for a while. They did not have more juice and tasted worse. My lemonade trick (see post under "recipes") helped but now the result was not totally convincing. But again, others will be more experienced.

I live in 2 apartment building, neighbour had fire 2 days ago (AC failed and caused fire) - I did my best to help - guess what helped me to throw out 'aerosol garbage' from my lungs - PT tea that is

Hardyvermont, I have been thinking about your guave-like Poncirus. What is the difference that it does not taste citrusy? Is there not acid in the fruit? Or is it something else that makes the difference?
