All my sun loving plants are as close as can be to the large south facing window in my sunroom. Now, the sun is too high and only gets at the ones next to window. In October (when citrus comes in), the sun is low enough, but my neighbor has a huge tree & leaves don't fall till November ...arrrrrg.
I have a bay window in front facing west. Sun is there from just after 2 till about 7.
Is it better to put them there with less light but more direct sun, or keep them in a bright room with no direct sun but getting light longer w/ some grow lites?
So, longer day w/ no direct sun or short (& darker) day with about 4 hrs. of direct sun???? Some opinions would be nice, thanks.
I still have another 3-4 weeks before they can go out for summer.
