Is anyone growing a “Hardy Tangerine”? How cold has your tree survived? What is the fruit like?

What actually is a "Hardy Tangerine"? Hardy Tangerine must be a made up name, it certainly is not an variety name. Millet

Then call it by its correct name.....Juanita. I have a Juanita Tangerine, that never has been below 55F. but I can say, the Juanita is a great tree, and very easy to grow. - Millet

it survived 25f for me this year. I had several of the fruits last year and it was good.

Depending on where you live you should cover it in the winter.... plant it on the south side of your house ect

The Juanita has survived 14 degrees a couple of times for me in the ground with absolutely no protection. By spring it is virtually naked (leafless) but does fully leaf out and flower. It is a good quality fruit. I have mine grafted about 5ft up on regular trifoliate.
