Hello!

My name is Marc and I live in Belgium, close to Antwerp.
I have loved citrus plants since I was a young boy, which is now many years ago... Laughing

I had several plants in the past, both from plant shops and from seed, but never managed to keep them more than a couple of years at maximum. The climate here isn't good enough to keep the plants outside all the time and indoors we have too little light to grow plants.

I now have placed my bets on a citrumelo plant that I ordered from Flora Toscana in Germany. The plant arrived today. I intend to plant it in our garden permanently.

The picture I have as avatar is a home grown sanguinello orange. It looked great and was very juicy, but was completely tasteless. It's the only orange I ever managed to grow.

I certainly envy all you people who live in citrus friendly areas! Wink

Welcome Marc. Climate has a lot to do with taste of citrus and most need some heat to develop good flavor.

Lemon may be one of your best chances for container citrus. And you can store citrus plants cool (below 15-16C) without light.
