Laaz,
I think I can do ten standard Trifoliata. Give me a day or two to collect them.

*smile* Laaz,
I have access to a very large tree... so 10 fruit is about 100 Seeds... In my best days, I was sending a citrus fellow 1 lbs of seeds
Because I do not use Poncirus trifoliata...
So Seeds of this large fruited varieties, thriving in Frankfurts environment, sometimes with two up to three weeks being fully flooded of the river main, and surely over 20 years of age on this place....
well, if someone want some of these seeds, let me know, right now... _________________ Eerh, hmm, uuuh, oooh, just guessing |

10 Fruit is about 500 or more seed here... Trifoliata normally has about 50 seed per fruit more or less... Steve check you PM. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

Here in England, the fruits are very often seedless. I think this depends on the weather conditions at flowering time. I've never found more than about 10 or 12 seeds in a UK fruit - and I've collected many fruits from different trees.
As an example, the most fruitful UK Poncirus I've found is about 20 miles south of London, in the grounds of a crematorium. In 2001 I collected plenty of seeds, but in 2002 I counted 3 seeds in 18 fruits. See

I haven't yet visited this year, but if my own two mature trees are typical, there will be few fruits and no seeds. We had spring frosts, and a cool summer.

The rind looks so thick! Mine is very thin as you can see in my avatar's picture.
Couldn't it be a cross? |

No, I don't think so.
I believe thick skin is a result of poor growing conditions - mainly cool summer temperatures. My potted orange trees, which are kept outside from May to September, also often produce fruit with very thick skins. |
