The attached greenhouse concept is good and when in the south facing could be used to heat your entire house. Major points is that massive amount of water stored in the subfloors provide as gian heat storage and exchanger. Temperature didn't go below 68 deg F inside the house in New Jersey. That's ideal for citrus and bananas and other ultra-tropicals.

Joe, it will work well for the home, because the house is always warm and thus relatively close enough to the air temperature of the greenhouse. However, I built an attached greenhouse onto the south wall of an UNHEATED garage (the garage was a seperate building from the house), and placed a fan to blow the heated air from the greenhouse into the garage, with a return vent back into the greenhouse. During the winter months the warm and very humid greenhouse air quickly condensed when it hit all of the cold objects being stored in the garage, and constantly made EVERYTHING wet.- Millet
