Nice. Coffee grounds look to be working nicely. Ruby reds look to be full size already!

With all the respect that is due to my friends on this forum, I don't think coffee grounds has all that much to due with it. - Millet

I think just about all of my citrus is full size now. Just needs to sweeten up & color up.

I had to trim my navel orange back the other day, with the weight of the fruit it was hanging down in the way of my front door.

I am taking about the trees being mite and miner free, by the photos it looks that way at least. Laaz has posted some comments about grounds helping with bugs recently.

I misunderstood about the coffee. Sorry about that, I apologize. A broad trial by growers would tell a lot if coffee actually had any effect on mites and CLM. Just thinking, if coffee actually did offer some amount of control for CLM and mites, one would think that it would have already been LONG KNOWN by the citrus industry, and agriculture in general. - Millet

You would think but then until recently no one knew they would control scale in Sagos. The Sagos were going the way of the dinosaurs until they accidentlly stumbled onto that. It was a fluke. They were not testing the effects they just noticed what was happening.

Wouldn't it be nice if it would!

That is why I use it on my citrus, it also keeps scales & other pests off citrus. Wink

Laaz,

Thanks for your input on this.

I want it to be perfectly clear.

Are you saying that the "Coffee grounds" without the benefit of other insecticides, organic or otherwise, is preventing CLM

OR

Is that a "wink" of humor?
