I just got around to harvesting my one lone Yuko fruit and was impressed. I thought it was going to be mostly seed and closer to Yuzu in terms of juice but it was quite the opposite. It was very juicy with a nice mild lemon flavor and only four small seeds. This would make a nice Yuko-aid. I actually squeezed some on my key lime pie to kick up the flavor. Anyone else have Yuko?

Cool! Looks great. Cool Yuku is one variety on my wish list, there can't be too many people in the US (or anywhere for that matter) that have this variety.

From all of the descriptions I've seen, I would have thought it would have more seeds too.

How cold hardy has it been for you? Is it in a pot or the ground?

I have a small graft out in the yard but it didn't sprout out at all last year. The little scion looks fine and hasn't died off in our last winter. I need to graft out another scion to give it a good hardiness test. Laaz is yours grafted out or in a pot?

MarcV -you're right about so many varieties and so little space! I don't even really have space for the trees I have now but somehow keep adding more each year Smile

The fruit is from my small pottted tree. I'm not sure if this one fruit is indicative of what a typical fruit is like but I liked it a lot. I picked out the seeds before I took the picture.
