From where you might ask?

Southern Vancouver Island just North of Victoria, BC.

I've never tried growing citrus yet but plan to start this year.

I've overwintered hot peppers with great success 7 of 10 made it through the winter with a few peppers late winter and early spring before this years crop had barely started inside.

Since June I've harvested a couple of peppers a week from the three plants I kept. A Thai Dragon, a Hungarian hot Wax and a Jalepeno.

They make great house plants, I have the Hungarian in my office in a West facing window and it currently has about 13 peppers in various stages growing on it.

It would be nice to get a cytrus tree to go along with it.

Welcome. You may want to contact the people at Fruit Trees and More. Bob Duncan has been featured in a number of articles in local newspapers about his ability to grow citrus trees in your area. The articles may still be available here and/or in the UBC forums.

Welcome Jim! There is lots of great info for us novice citus growers.
I have a pepper plant I have been growing in a pot for 3 yrs now. I have no clue what it is other than it scares my husband who loves Habenirro peppers!! the look like chilie peppers but are extreemly hot! I keep it in nice sunny location it pouts a little during winter but is quick to bounce back in spring. I'd never had any luck keeping peppers over winter before this plant.
Hope ya enjoy your stay!!

Thanks for the info I bought my Thai Dragon seeds from them a couple of years ago.

If I buy an established tree it would save me years before I got fruit.
