Hi, I over firtilized with miconutiants [foliar]
lost most the leafs. I was wondering if
indivdual leafs come where the leafs fell off or
do they come back as shoots? I was wondering
how much to prune. Some branchs have leafs
on the ends. The plants are in 7 & 15 gal pots
2 to 3 years old. Thanks Joal

You have three courses open to you: (1) Leave the tree alone, (2) cut the tree back hard, (3) cut the tree back part way. Everything considered, leaving the tree alone is by far the best option. For some time following the injury it is impossible to determine how much pruning should be undertaken. There is no need for haste. In the manner that your tree has been damaged, there is a very good chance of the tree filling out, full or in part, with new leaves this spring. You have at least until spring to early summer before you need to do anything. - Millet (376 - ABO)

HI millet, thanks for the quick reply. I have quite a few trees, I will wait and see how they
sprout. This is my first year growing citrus.
Have been a little destresed about my mistake

joal, myself, and every person on this forum has made their share of mistakes. Hopefully, each one was a learning experience. Welcome to The Citrus Growers Forum. We are glad to have you as a member. - Millet (376 ABO)

Yes, agree! i killed many trees, before thinking, guessing and even learning made the difference.
I tried, what some local experts say, but failed so dramatically, I lost a whole collection of 15 plants....
Today... I am still not immune against mistakes and errors... you always have to be aware more in winter, than in summer time.
