patty- a scam? no no! its one of the most valuable substances. definately the most valueable substance from a living being that you dont have to hunt (kill the animal) for.

ive never smelled it. I heard about someone else who had found a washed-up one on GW before it got bad over there.

I believe in it, but was thinking how would one know that's what it is. It must be a more solid mass with distinctive marks or something. I woulda thought any vomit would just spread around as more of a liquid. I'd love to see this! Garnet, you said you never smelled it? And they use it for perfumes??!! It must not smell too bad. How weird.

This is interesting..never heard of this. My dictionary says: 'A waxy grayish substance formed in the intestines of sperm whales & found floating at sea or washed ashore. It is used as a fixitive in perfumes'
Sounds more like poop than vomit LOL.

If its Poop Im gonna smack mark along side his head with it since he told me what it was and said it was vomit .
