Thanks for the article Ned. The "Croxton" grapefruit clone I got from you is doing just fine for me up here in VA so far. Time will tell how hardy it is. It's good to know a little more about the history of the plant that's growing in my yard. It is ironic however that Mr Croxton can't even eat the fruit he's known for because of his meds.

It is indeed sad that Professor Croxton can't eat his grapefruit, but he is none-the-less very proud of his tree. I can just see the gleam in his eyes as he was being interviewed to for the article. Mr. Croxton and Ben are wonderful people and true hardy citrus explorers.
