If you use Google Earth, then select Syracuse, on the island of Sicily the citrus fields can be seen surrounding the city of Syracuse - Millet

I also have the Limonero Messina, which is also a Sicilian variety.

Their shape resembles my "Lunario" pretty much...
Aren't they supposed to be a little bit more globose... at least according to this article?

This is a Lunario at about the same stage of development...

Its description from UCR varieties site doesn't match the pics from Citrus ID.
They seem to be kind of contrary to one another... As you say, we'll see in a few months... Smile
