Hey everyone,

I ordered some seeds in december and today (29th of january) I planted the first. (I already planted the coffee in december since it has a 2 month germination period)

List of seeds:

Actinidia Kolomikta (Siberian kiwi)
Arbutus Unedo (strawberry tree)
Asimina Triloba (paw paw)
Musa ssp. Helens hybrid (should be a hardy banana tree)
Coffea Arabica (coffee)
Diospyros kaki (kaki aka. sharon)

December:
- Coffea arabica (expected first shoots somewhere in februari)

29th of january:
- Diospyros kaki (in small pots)
- Asimina Triloba (2 outdoors in ground, 3 in pots in the garden shack)

31th of january:
-Musa sp. Helen's hybrid

The banana seeds are in medium hot water unti the day after tomorrow and will be potted then.

I will keep this thread updated on new events.

Greets Wink

Nice list of things, even stuff I wouldn't try here in Central Florida. I am guessing you have a decent sized greenhouse? You are the only other person I have seen here trying to do the Strawberry tree(Although I am sure people will chime in now lol), its a pretty fast grower and I have gotten about a foot of growth even here in the winter in a pot. Too warm here for some of that unfortunately, and too cold for others.

I like seeing greenhouse pics, lets see!

None of the plants will be kept in a greenhouse. Smile

I chose plants that are supposed to 'work' in my climate with succes.

Indeed, the strawberry tree might be the hardest one because it actually gets a little to cold here so it should be kept around freezing point during winters.
