I topworked part of my blood orange tree today. I had a large branch of vainiglia sanguigno acidless blood orange. I had 5 gallons of fruit last year and just didn't like it that much. It's been pretty busy around here lately with construction going on:Photobucket

Here is the bark graft:

I wrap the scion in parafilm as well as the cut off limb.

Good news, looks like my branch of tarroco blood orange is blooming for the first time this year after a wait of 5 years from buds from a supposedly bearing tree from Texas A&M.

Both scions are budding out. Sanguinelli blood orange.
