Hello.
At the end of June I bought this nice dwarf Meyer lemon tree on a trellis:
I've decided to re-make it into a usual tree. The tree seems pretty happy, it has grown new leaves, but I have to re-pot it, although looking at the amount of the roots it's not necessary to repot, but when the soil dries the whole plant starts to fall to the side, since the pot is so small that the soil doesn't give much weight to hold such a plant (with 3 lemons). I know you probably think it's not the right time to re-pot a tree so close towards fall, but let me say that this tree from about November will be spending much time under grow lights. Anyways, I'm hesitant about what size pot I should choose... I'm torn between 15 cm pot and a 17 cm pot, right now the plant is in a 12 cm pot. Which one I should choose:
?
The yellow empty pot is 15 cm and the brown - 17 cm.
First of all, the 15 cm pot is nicer looking, because it's yellow and it would match the lemons very nicely when they're ripe, and I know that in the nursery they would go from 12 cm pot to 15 cm pot, but I'm not sure if 15 cm is enough...
Here are the roots showing at the bottom of the pot:
