Hi,
I really growing persimmon so much. I bought 2 grafted hachiya persimmons for my parents and they are doing very well. I would like to ask you guys if I can propagate new trees. If I can, will the new propagated trees grow fruit as well. Can you guys please let me know what is the best way to propagate them.

I searched and read many articles but still not very sure how to start.

Scroll down to the link of this tutorial and you will see that bark grafting on a limb works very well with persimmons. 100% success rate if the timing is right and your scionwood is good.

review the tutorial from the beginning and on page 4 you would see the special mention of persimmons. The devil's in the details, that's why please read... If you miss a single detail, your persimmon graft would not be successful. It helps to practice on expendable wood.
