A long time friend of mine, and fellow citrus collector, who as far as I know, grew the first Sunrise Lime from seed in America. Beside my friend, from whom Laaz got his tree, this thread is the only place you will be able to get this variety. It is a very difficult, if not impossible, variety to locate. So if you want a Sunrise Lime you better get on the list while you can.. Actually, I am very surprised that Laaz is only asking $30.00 for a tree.- Millet 7-20

I definetely want one. I'll have to ship it to and grow it at my brothers in Alabama but I think it will be worth it. We go there weekly.

I'm off tomorrow, so I'll post some photos.

These are the most fragile citrus I have ever grown from seed. Many will damp off for no apparent reason. Once they have a little size to them they do well, it's just getting them there. Then I top the main stem & force them to branch. They take about two / three years to fruit from seed.

Sanguinello, remind me next spring and I will graft some plants or send you some budwood of Sunrise Lime.
