My indoor citrus have a bit of spider mite damage. It doesnt get too bad, and when I see webs, I take the spraybottle and wet them down real good and wipe the bugs and webs off with my fingers.

My thai lime, and no other, is showing wilting at the ends of the leaves. I havent found anything on it. Barely any spidermite webbing. till tonight! I squished a few greyish opaque teardrop shaped things, and I think theyre scales. I trimmed off most of the damaged leaves, and will keep a closer eye on it now that I have a culprit. yuck. but kinda satisfying.

Hey Gardenmoth, I keep hearing about scale but I guess we don't have them here...at least I never saw it. But, from what you describe it is scale. Kinda hard shell greyish?
My problem is fungus gnats...they came back. I read they really don't hurt a plant, but just read somewhere that the larvae will eat roots. Maybe that's my problem with some leaf drop....don't know. The 3 new plants I just bought in FL....I saw little 1/4 inch wormy things moveing but they crawled back into soil. I don't know what they are. They came with the plants! Can't wait till I can get my plants outside to FLUSH the soil!
