Will be visiting the Netherlands for two weeks or so to see some of the public gardens and many private gardens that are not open to the general public, with the American Ivy Society. Should be fun. I hope the Anaheim Ducks win the Stanley Cup while I gone. - Millet

Have a great trip Millet!

The Netherlands has some great gardens and beautiful scenery. Our daughter and her family lived in the Netherlands for 3 years. We made the trip a number of times while they were there. On one trip, in the spring of 2002, we met our daughter in London, and went to the Chelsea Flower Show. That in itself was a great experience, but we left there and went to a flower show they had near Amsterdam, which cover 15 acres. I believe they have this show every 10 years. I can't remember it's name to save my life. It was, without a doubt, the best trip we have ever been on. We were indeed fortunate to have had the chance to go - something we would never had done without our daughter being there. Plant folks dream come true!

have fun Millet,

the wife and I had a tiny wedding and went to Europe for our honeymoon (2-weeks). We flew in and out of Amesterdam. Wonderful people, beutiful architecture, museums, and the farmers market right by the main canal was filled with flowers, plants, seeds, etc. The flight part of your trip, I do not envy though.

The whole thing is a "research trip", for tax purposes, right?
