Well, not exactly exploding...but they are blowing their rinds at the blossom end. They literally look like they exploded. Any ideas?
I thought maybe too much water, the leaves look great...it has a million little new Calamondins. Also has new growth. Has me stumped.

It can occur with other citruses too like Cara-Cara and Algerian Tangerine. Sudden change in temperature and humidity coupled with excellent water supply, the changes in the skin could not cope up with the changes in the contents, so the fruit skin ruptures. If were gradual changes, then it would have been okay.

That would make sense, we have had sudden wicked hot temps and humidity.
I am assuming it will eventually stop? Probably with the new crop?
Thanks!
Darren
