I believe the plant I know as Dragon Lime is seedless, but Stan or Mr. Texas will be able to tell you if that is the case.

I dont think so- A few years ago i got some from a user of this forum from VA. But i do not know if it comes true from seed. Which doesnt matter because i would like to test hybrids of Dragon lime as well.

I have a ton of TaiTri fruit this year.

I'll save you some seeds.

I just ate a Dragon Lime fruit last week but it was seedless. I think there are a couple more fruit on the tree. I will check for seeds. My tree is for the most part seedless but I do find a stray seed every so often.

Good. I had a mature tree several years ago, and thought I remembered that it had few if any seed. Also, it seems like I ate one or two of Stan McKenzie's and found them to be devoid of seed.

Artie the citrus discussed here is a hybrid of the trifoliata flying dragon, not the cal / madarin hybrid.

Here's a link to the Asian fruit http://thestar.com.my/lifestyle/story.asp?file=/2004/1/19/features/7116998&sec=features

Quote:
Mandarin oranges are called 'kum' meaning gold (金) in Chinese. Citrus limes like calamondin, tangerines and kumquat are called 'kat' (吉) meaning 'auspicious'.

From the photos I have seen of the Asian "Dragon lime" it looks like a Changshou kumquat

I believe the Dragon Lime here in the USA was discovered by Buddingman. I haven't tried, but I would guess a search of this forum would get you a lot of info about it.
