Well the big day has arrived. I retired as of last Monday. Now I can spend as much time in the greenhouse as I want. As a retirement gift I did not get the traditinal "Gold Watch." Instead, the company had a new commerical restaurant grade 14-ft. heavy duty stainless steel double deep sink with attached stainless steel work stations on each end installed in my greenhouse. They also had a plumber come and install a new 40-gallon hot water heater and attached it up to the sink with copper piping. Now I can pot, transplant, mix potting soils, seed, wash fruit and ALSO water my trees with WARM water all winter long. Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, I'm free at last. - Millet

Congradulations Millet! Sounds like your fellow employees knew you well. They obviously thought a lot of you. (or maybe it was like it was with me, they wanted to make sure you didn't get the urge to come back! lol)

Thank you all, and Ned you could be correct. On Friday I am traveling up to Greeley, Colorado (70 miles north) to attend an all day seminar on "Winter Tree Care," that is being put on by Citrus Joe. - Millet

Thanks Stan and Gina. I am already planning on attending the 2006 Virginia Beach Expo. When you get your dates settled, just post them on the forum, and Citrus Joe and I will be there. - Millet

Awesome set up Millet! I love passive solar design and mean to have barrels or a pond in any greenhouse type structure I eventually build. and lots and lots of stone/sand/dense fill that will trap energy too. I covet your barrels. I need to go to the barrel company here and see if theyve got foodsafe containers.....
