That is some mean cold! It has been an unusually long cold spell down here since mid Jan-- we normally get a few days of 70 evey week or so-- this year it all came in early Jan and it has been cold and wet since-- not the -10 is not a lot colder--ouch!

Patty-- there are lots of houses for sale here-- if you can afford the Insurance--- the policy we had went up 10 fold in the last 2 years-- we were forced to change to some fly by night company I have never heard of when State Farm went to 6500/yr. Population in our county has dropped for the last 2 years.

That is a shame that insurance rates are driving ppl out. A lot of ppl in my neighborhood are leaving (several to Fl) because of tax hikes. Maybe we could get some ppl to invest in starting a new insurance Co. that could be an 'umbrella' to other ins. companies.
