How does one request seed from UCR? Is there a specific ordering form or link? I'm on the budwood list, but I'm interested in some seed at a later date.

Thanks.

I guess no one has done it?

I was hoping to get seed of the Seville Sour orange and the Blood Australian Fingerlime and perhaps a few other oddballs.

Send a letter, or better yet, telephone Dr. Robert Kruger at the Citrus Clonal Protection Program (CCPP) and ask him if he would do you the special favor of sending the seeds you are looking for. You can also contact Tracy Khan (a woman) who is the head of the Variety Collection and ask the same favor. Dr. Robert Kruger is a very nice guy, he just might help you out. I would be interest in how your request turned out. Send me a PM. - Millet (900-)

Thanks Millet! By the way what does the number you put by your name in each post mean?

Somewhere I vaguely remember reading that the color of finger limes is not kept from one generation to the next so you would need bud wood to guarantee a red finger lime.

I hope you and Millet don't mind me answering the number question. That is the number of days until the communists are out of power.

Indeed, Dr. Robert is ok. I requested some seeds from Us199, a few years ago, and surprisingly a few weeks later the seeds arrived in Holland.
Thanks again to Dr. Robert Kruger!
