I'm curious how folks are approaching foliar feeding of their in ground citrus. The poll covers how you approach it, I am also interested in what you use as foliar fertilizer within the context of the poll question.

I voted for "As needed to address a specific problem", but really wanted to vote for "when I get around to it." Since I did not add that as an option, it seemed closest.

It would be nice for folks to explain why they voted for a particular option. And what they use as foliar spray. I use fish emulsion for the most part.Smile

I never foliar feed, if you keep on a good fertilization schedule of the root system you shouldn't have problem.

I also chose #2 as best answer but really more when I get around to it. I use Miracle Grow Liquid usually when I do foliage fert. I would rather do a soil but if I am running late with fertilizer or if the leaves are a little yellow I will spray. I have used Miracle Grow wet able too. Liquid is very easy. I have also added liquid soap , sometimes Castile, to maybe get additional benefit with some insect control. I wished the soap had helped with sooty mold but it didn't . Now using hort. oil and that helps a lot with sooty mold. Some scale is back. I have been scared of hort. oil before but I love it now. I am still scared if too hot the leaves will come off. It never made sense to mix oil and water but it does work. Tom
