No offense, but when I read your post, I laughed out loud.

I don't have any, sorry. How about some beetles? I may be able to send you some of those. The next warm (really warm) night, i'll leave by back light on and I should have lots of beetles heading towards my back door. Don't ask why, cause I don't know. It has only been recently that it has been happening and now that I finally may have a use for them they probably won't come, but we'll see.

Not positive but I don't think bugs will survive the mailing process, even overnight express. The temps and all the other atmospheric changes would be too much for them. If they had to fly the pressure would probably be their demise.

You might be able to see if your neighbors have any they would probably be more than willing to share. Some greenhouses may even have a few thousand they would be happy to unload.

I could be totally wrong in this but this is only my opinion.

How are your praying manits doing?
Do you know if they eat scale?
A couple of times I have collected those beetles I was talking about but they have never made it until morning. It has only been a recent thing that they have been coming out. Maybe it's mating season or something and then they die off, I don't know. I went to my Mom's place and her neighbor's tree is LOADED with scale. I am going there again next weekend and if your little mantis' eat them I'll collect them (while still on the leaves) and send them to you in a ziplock, inside of a box. Let me know.

Thanks

It gives me goose pimples imagining someone to ship a very distructive insects into other places.
I just imagine why we have these asian plant viruses that came from Asia or this walking catfish in Florida who could cross the highway to migrate.
I would forego my praying mantis before I would receive those creatures.
Also I would checked first if that is lawful or you can get fine in full bloom.
It all started without malice.

I had seen the extent of the distruction brown scales had created at my ssister's plants last year.
ALL I mean all of her plants in her backyard were loaded with this brown scales that you could hardly see because they seemed to be comouflagged and they seemed to be part of the bark but there were millions of them on all over the branches and trunks with her priced apple trees, asean pears, plums, persimmons, god, thos escales are ruthless so much so that the branches die back seeping the sap of the tree. She asked for help at the State aGRICULTURE EXTENSION BUT THEY SAID THERE WAS NO CURE FOR THEM. She ended up cutting all of her trees down to the bone and start all over again.
She used neem oil, soap, boiling water etc.... but could not stop them.

Yeah? Them I'll have to get some of them and bring them to my Mom's and put them on her neighbor's tree. I want to prevent them from (potentially) going onto my Mom's tree eventhough they are on the other side of the house. Besides, it is an elderly couple that own the tree and I'm sure they would appreciate it, as they love to eat the fruit and they are giong to be heading North for the summer.

Thanks
