3 Years old. I did cut it back a bit.



Got this one from Homebase on sale £10.00.
I think it is about 5 years old.

Hi Eddie,
Your trees look healthy, but why did you prune it? In general pruning is not recommended for citrus. In some cases with containerized trees, one may nned to prune to keep the tree within a certain space.

What type of lemon are they?

Nice looking trees. One word of caution, if you want the trees to fruit, don't cut them back. The foliage portion of the tree (scion) should be no more than 2 1/2 times taller than the height of the container, so you probably need to repot the trees into a larger container. Slip the trees out of the container and look at the root system, to be sure the roots are not circling around and around against the inside of the container wall.. Take care,- Millet
