Hello- I was browsing a group of 5 gal Becnel citrus for sale yesterday and saw a tag listed as pamello grapefruit. Is pamello another spelling for pummelo/pomelo? Is it a grapefruit or pummelo hybrid? I was curious about this name and the plant's growth habits and cold hardiness. Do you have any experience with this plant? Many of the box stores have very nice citrus for 75% off now- wish I had an acre!

Sounds like a misspelling, and who knows, then, what it means? "Pummelo" is Citrus grandis (a.k.a. C. maxima), the shaddock, whereas "pomelo" is the old-fashioned name for grapefruit (of any variety).
