I bought this healthy citrus limon tree two months ago:

It's been outside for about three weeks or four now. We've had some rainy weather past 2 two weeks. Today I noticed this wound on the tree Rolling Eyes. It's just right above the soil line. This tree was watered with fosetyl-al solution about a month ago against phytophtora... And there's no sap coming from the wound, it's seems dry, and the bark around there seems to be peeling slightly.
.
What is it? And how do I take care of it? I wouldn't want to lose this tree. It's also growing new leaves at the moment...

Squirrels? Woodpecker?
What are your local pests that could do this?
