I have some pictures of seedlings that have been overwatered and I have been giving less water lately, as in not letting the water run through the bottom and just gently soaking the medium. I use a Coco Coir mix consisting of four parts coir one part sand and one part vermiculite, could this also be a problem for me? I have the seedlings under flouresent lamps, 80 watts and usually take a week or more to dry out to water.

The seedlings are:
Kaffir Lime
Tangerine
Key Lime
Store Lemon
Chinese Pumello

Any help that can be offered is most apprciated,
Sincerely,
James

Edit:
The Kaffir and Tangerine are in peat soil and the white stuff on the leaves is diatamaecous (spelling?) earth, have fungus gnats.

Jtoi, all in all your seedlings look pretty good. I can not say much about the seedling mixture you are using, as I have never used that mixture, other than your particular blend will retain a lot of moisture. Coir is capable of holding seven times it's own weight in water, and vermiclite can hold water up to 300 percent by weight. Normally, it is not wise to apply irrigation water in so small amounts so that it does not drain out the bottom, as this causes the soluable salts to quickly build up in the medium. If a germinating mix QUICKLY drains, then the amount of water applied at one application should not be a problem. - Millet

Millet,
That's what I was afraid of, too much water and having lots of cupping, two other shadock seedlings had roots turning brown but still had nice white roots coming but leaves are extremly yellow.

Would it be better to add just sand to coir at a ratio of coir:sand of 1:1 or 2:1 ? or does someone have a good seedling mix for seedlings using coir , maybe pure coir works well? I can always just try these out and see but just to ask in case someone who has good experience with coir mixes with citrus. I geuss that's why my teak seedlings are not doing their best too much moisture trapped. Thank you for your help Millet, I really do apprciate all the advice you give,
Sincerely,
James.
