Last I bought the Flame Calla lily and I think I started it a little early this season and I was wondering at which leaf does it usually bloom. I still have at least a month till I can set it outside and I don't want it to flower inside. On of the bulbs has a leaf already, if it is too late is there anything i can do to slow the growth? funny question for a gardener to ask it is always "how can i get it to grow faster"

Hi Valencia, I think I'm having same problems here too with many plants LOL. Was tempted to take some outside yesterday with 80 F temps, but today it's 40F!!
I would either keep it in a darker area & on dry side (no ferts)., or just let it grow as it is in the pot & when temps are right, plant outside.
I forgt that Callas have to be dug up in fall. I usually just planted them out in spring before they started growing, but aren't we anxious to see our flowers?!!!! Laughing
