Hello,
I live in South East Georgia on the border of zone 8a & 8b. I am fairly new to the citrus world. This will be my 4th growing season. I joined this forum to learn from the more experienced growers.

I went kind of overboard the last few years and have acquired the following citrus varieties:

Hamlin Orange
Pineapple Orange
Moro Blood Orange
Red Navel Orange
Washington Navel Orange

Duncan Grapefruit

Changsha Mandarin
Ponkan Mandarin

Dancy Tangerine

Owari Satsuma
Brown Select Satsuma
Okitsu Satsuma
China 9 Satsuma

Centennial Kumquat
Meiwa Kumquat

Chandler Pomelo

Meyer Lemon

Thomasville Citragequat

Rubidoux Trifoliate
Unknown Trifoliate
Carrizo
Swingle

I would like to exchange some plants or wood and acquire more varieties if anyone is interested.

Sounds like you have a great start. With that many varieties you need to use the search engine. There is an incredible amount of knowledge here on most all of those. Enough so you'll need quite a few rainey weekends to read it ll. Welcome to the forum. I'm looking forward to hearing your trials and wins. I live in Pensacola, Fl 8b/9a and I am picking up about twenty new citrus this week or next. Whatever bug bit you it musy have flew over here and got me too!

Some are in 20 gal. pots and will probably never be planted. I do have a lot in the ground though. I place a black 50 gallon drum of water next to the tree and build a little makeshift greenhouse around them with old boards and visqueen. The drum of water seems to regulate the temperature both ways. There are a couple near the house that I just put Christmas lights on.

What varieties do you have?

I have a several year old Meyer lemon and a second year Brown Select Satsuma. The folks keep saying a Page is about as good as it gets so that might be my next one. I use frost blankets and Christmas tree lights. I am working on my apple trees but man are they a pain to keep them sprayed.
