My Sunburst are almost fully colored. Probably 85%. I ate one today and found it too be insufficient in sugar content. All in all not bad but it has room to improve. I'll try another one in a couple of weeks. An Owari I ate a couple days ago was not bad at all with a decent amount of sugar. It had full color.

I have been eating a Sunburst ever four or five days. They are beautifully colored and fairly sweet. I have not observed any splitting on these. All of my Fremont split early in the year. I have one Kimbrough and it has a small split. Im waiting for it to get a little more color before I try it. I have had several Owari's and am pleased for a first year effort. I have several Hamlin Oranges that are about 60% colored. They will be my first orange. My Meiwa Kumquat is loaded and should be ready by December. Here is the strangest part. I have two Meyer Lemons and have not seen the first bloom. Maybe next Spring.

That sounds great. I just bought some sunburst tangerines from the market. They were pretty good. I have planted some seeds. Do you have a picture of your sunburst tree?
